 How do I get to Malaysia, Laos, Vietnam, Cambodia and Burma from Thailand?
 You can cross the border at the Friendship Bridge from Thailand to Laos, Cambodia and Burma as they are the neighbors of Thailand. But the safest and definitely the cheapest way of obtaining a valid visa are buying it at the official border. Moreover, there are train services to get to Malaysia. You may even take a flight to the respective neighbors of Thailand
