If you are looking to get away from the city and all that goes with it then a tour to one of Thailand's beautiful National Parks comes highly recommended.
Khao Yai National Park, lies about 175 km Northeast of Bangkok and is Thailand's best known national park. Covering 2172 square kilometers of protected forest, jungle and grassland, was declared a nature reserve with over 153 different species of animals, that are protected by law.
En-route to the park we stop in Nakhon Nayok province at a local fruit market where you can enjoy mango, rambutans and many more exotic fruits. Afterwards continue to the National Park for a walk along one of the marked trails among the mountains, forests, streams and waterfalls.
After lunch drive through the park heading to Pakchong Creek for the experience of elephant riding. Here you will experience a 45 minute elephant ride with a trusted mahout through the lush forest on the back of an elephant. Return to Bangkok in the later afternoon.
