A Manohra cruise accommodating 40 people is a must for anyone who really wants to experience the true essence of Bangkok . Marvelous renovated teak barges offer daily luncheon cruises, including a private guide for Royal Palace tour (THB1,100++); daily dinner cruises (THB1,400); a sunset cocktail cruise (THB500) and overnight cruises (from THB24,000).

Longer excursions are available on the Manohra Song, which features four luxuriously appointed, air-conditioned bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms.

The opening hours are: Daily Luncheon Cruise: 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Daily Dinner Cruise: 7:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., Overnight Cruises leave 2 p.m. on Monday and Wednesday, 8 a.m. on Tuesday

Lumpini Park

Lumpini Park is a popular oasis, named after Buddha's birthplace. The best time to visit the park is just after sunrise, when hordes of fitness fanatics can be spotted jogging, doing aerobics, practicing tai chi, yoga or even ballroom dancing. You can even hire a paddle boat, eat at one of the reasonably priced outdoor restaurants, or just take it easy under a shady tree. There is no entry fee to visit the park.

There are four entrances to the park each at Rama IV Road , Sarasin Road , Wireless Road and Ratchadamri Road repectively.
